We are Wild Wisdom…
Sarai Nicolina Shapiro and Caitlin Rose Wild are the creators and lead guides for Wild Wisdom. In addition we are graced to have incredible elders as well as guest teachers support your journey throughout the nine months.
Sarai Nicolina Shapiro (she/her) is a personal and organizational coach, non-profit founder, artist, friend, and earth-lover. She has spent her adult years supporting the emergence of people of all ages, from youth through adulthood through initiatory experiences that invoke a heart-full connection to self, community, earth, and spirit. She was the youth programs director for Wilderness Torah and is the Founder and previous Executive Director of Gaia Passages. She utilizes modalities learned in her many studies from somatics, energy-psychology, nature connection, and coaching to support each individual in unique ways.
Caitlin Rose Wild (she/her) is the founder of Mountain Soul, an experienced wilderness guide, avid backpacker, eco-therapy practitioner, bridge builder, community organizer and sacred nature connection facilitator. For the last 12 years she has immersed herself in listening to the subtle (and not so subtle) whispers of the earth, taking direction from mystery and opening her heart to the full spectrum of life. She founded Mountain Sea Adventures, an outdoor adventure school for groups and individuals and has a thriving EcoPsychology practice in Santa Cruz, CA. Our Anchor Elder…
Michelle Vesser (she/her) - is the founder of Everything Sacred: Tending the Inner and Outer Landscape, a Farmer/Gardener and Educator for the past 35 years, an Herbalist, Spiritual Counselor/ Mediator, End of Life Doula, and Tibetan Practitioner. She has been guided by her deep connection with the natural and spiritual world throughout her life. As an Elder she brings all her passion for the healing world of plants, supports participants on their inner journeys, and shares the joys of exploring our interconnections with the wildness.
Apprentice/Assistant: Martha Moss [she/siya] is a nature guide, wild-crafter, urban farmer, wilderness trip leader, rites of passage youth mentor, and gardener of spirit. She is passionate about supporting and Celebrating deep community resilience by restoring the relationships between humans and their greater social and ecological communities. She loves to empower deep wildness and belonging through creative expression, mindfulness, deep nature connection, regenerative land stewardship, social emotional guidance, and singin’ and dancin’ like nobody’s lookin’. A lover of stories, you may find her weaving tales between plant, animal, and human ways of being, celebrating the diversity of connections across all forms of life.
