A Closer Look at Our Journey Through the Seasons

Intention Setting
Group Tending: In our first gathering we co-create our container through agreements & norms that can hold the tenderness and sacredness of each of your journeys. Through slowing down, connecting to nature and sitting together in council, we support each of you to clarify where you are pointing your arrow. We support you to be clear, stand for, and stay committed to the prayer you hold for your life throughout the 7
month journey.

Spring Time
Looking Back: Our first gathering includes honoring and exploring your story up until now, including connecting with your childhood, your heritage and ancestors. In addition we are weaving in luminous strands of connection with the wild world. We will quite literally practice this through weaving an “intention basket” woven from locally harvested (by you!) Pine Needles. Earth connection skills include backpacking, fire-making, archery, basketry, and plant and animal tracking and communication as well as a mini-solo to prepare you for your time in the Trinities

Summer Solstice
Earth Communion Time X Day Wilderness Solo: Showing up for the deep conversation of your life when the sun is at its zenith and the wildflowers are in full bloom, we invite you to commune with yourself and the earth upon the beautiful and remote sacred land of the Trinity Mountains. Solstice is a potent time to deeply consider the prayers and intentions for your life. The 10 days will include preparation leading up to your solo, your solo time and the beginnings of integration that will continue to unfold for perhaps the rest of your life…

Late Summer into Fall
Integration and Giving Back: As the fruits are ripening on the trees, this is the time of harvesting the fruits of your journey, solidifying what inner and outer wisdom and skills you have grown, and practicing them in your life. There is a sweetness of returning to the land we began on for our last extended camping trip. Our final gathering is a celebration & skills sharing. Each participant is invited to bring a heart-offering to be witnessed by your peers, guides, and elders, and an ancestral food to share with each other, the ones who have come before and the ones who are yet to come.
